Yogi Berra, that great philosopher and baseball player from a bygone day put it this way: “If you don’t know where you are going, you might wind up someplace else.”
And we know that’s true! Direction and movement is important in everyone’s life. We gotta be going somewhere; we can’t just stand still! We need to be moving forward toward some goal, toward some plateau of success, toward achievement of some kind.
Strategic actions are necessary for forward progress.
But saying that sounds easy. And we “get it”. Strategic actions are necessary for forward progress.
But sometimes formulating a deliberate plan and putting it into play is not so easy in the complicated, multifaceted routine of 21st Century life. Things happen that we didn’t plan and prepare for. Things happen that stymie us and mess up our progress. We get busy, lose our way and get frustrated.
And that’s where a coach is helpful.
A coach helps you look at yourself as not being the problem! Coaching helps you see why your forward progress is stalled and assists you in formulating a strategic plan to advance in your dreams and goals.
Coaching is good for the extremely irritated, continually underrated, oft-times frustrated and sometimes discombobulated!
Coaching helps you formulate your own strategic steps – whether for your life, your family, your relationships, you business or your ministry – then set up accountability structures of your choosing.
Making and carrying out a strategy-rich plan is something you can do that produces success. A little help never hurts.

Hi Glenn,
I’ve read a number of your articles … I really like your recurring tag line “A little help never hurts”. Not only is it true, but its also sticks in the memory! Your encouragement in June at the CFN conference, helped Nodya and I make the decision to pursue coaching. We’re about a third of the way through our training, are really enjoying it, but also overwhelmed with the scope of all the things that need to be done. We are calling our business NPATH COACHING ASSOCIATES. Busy working on a website, trying to narrow down our “niche”, and beginning to market ourselves. Thanks for your encouragement and prayers! I read your website to stay encouraged as well as enjoy the professional way that you’re developing it and your business!
Blessings
